This 1890s to early 1920s chemise is both cute and functional! The chemise is not an exact replica of a extant garment, but a simplified design with elements and shaping pulled from primary sources. This project is perfect for beginners just getting into historical sewing, as well as intermediate and advanced sewist looking for a quick project that can be whipped up in an afternoon!

Sewing level: Beginner

60" fabric 2.5yd all sizes

Chest 32"-54" {body measurements}

If you're between sizes please size up. Bustier people or people looking for a looser fit may wish to size up. No other adjustments need to be made when sizing up.

Front neckline to hem, excluding lace neckline is 37.5" with pintucks. (slightly below the knee on someone 5'5 - 5'6) Length can be adjusted by shortening or lengthening the ruffle and by adding or subtracting pintucks. The sample chemise worn by me (height 5', 152cm} has a ruffle shorted by 1"

This pattern includes beginner friendly written instructions with diagrams. Printing and assembly guide in the instructions!
